Nasi Goreng Kampung

Ingredients:

  • 150 gr steamed rice
  • 2 tbs soy bean sauce (kecap manis)
  • 2 tbs vegetable oil
  • 25 gr dried mackerel (teri medan), fried
  • 1 tbs fried shallots

Spice Paste Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp belacan
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 6 red hot chili
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  • Grind spice paste ingredients in a spice blender or pestle and mortar.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a wok. Saute the spice paste until fragrant.
  • Add rice, stir until mixed well.
  • Turn out onto plate, garnish with shallots
